In the Cretan villages situated on the base of the Asterousia Mountains, many young women and girls take up the yarn in their hands again and weave. Angeliki saved her grandmother’s loom and installed it in a derelict house that has since regained life from the colorful wefts and the rhythmical weaving sounds. Although grown up watching her mother and grandmother weaving incessantly, she had never learned how to work on the loom herself. But the memories stimulated her hands right away.
